Wine Tip:Proper Temperatures for Serving Wine

Your wine tip for today. Ever wondered about the proper temperature for serving wine? You may be heartened to know that you are not alone if you enjoy white wines that are warmer than very cold or red wines that are colder than room temperature — even though these are the “rules”.

Imagine my surprise when I read recently that the temperature of wine is a personal preference.  Cheers to common sense!

    The rule of thumb is to serve red wine with hard cheeses and white wine with soft cheese but rules are meant to be broken.
